About freedom, abundance and networks05.08.12
We live in a physical world with its physical limits. Limits like the extension of the gold mines, the fertile lands or the lakes.
In this place, people manage scarce resources: a short space in a paper to write an article, a small piece of cloth to make a dress or a little field to build a house. If the resources are finites, people need to fight for them. Some people even need to kill.
So there are so many wars among human beings for the control of prime matters. Because the material reality is limited.
However, in the digital age, we know new markets based on abundance. In the networks we not have to manage scantiness. We have all the possibilities in our hands, between our fingers and the keyboard.
This is the cyberspace, the universe where all impossible things are real.
